Lemon Meyer is an hybrid between normal lemon (citrus limon) and sweet orange (citrus sinensis).
This variety is originally from China but introduced by Mr. Meyer to the United States at the beginning of the century.
The fruit has a rounder shape comparated to a fruit of Lunario Lemon and it is characterized by a smooth and thin skin, initially green, then yellow and orange when ripe. The fruit pulp is very jucy and less acidic than a normal lemon and it has a delicate aroma. Meyer Lemon plant has beautiful, attractive, white and pink flowers with a sweet and intense perfume.
It can be easily positioned to decorate outdoor spaces because it is considered appreciated to be the most cold-resistant variety of lemons.
Meyer Lemon can be also used to add color to the corners of your house!
